Colonial Williamsburg
Souvenir Cup and Saucer
Opalescent Finish
MINT CONDITION
This souvenir cup and saucer will be an attractive addition to your collection, one you're sure to enjoy.
The center of the saucer shows the Governor's Palace of Virginia. It is surrounded with pictures of the Jamestown Church Tower, the public Gaol, the Magazine, the statue of Pocahontus, and the Wren Building. The cup also has a picture of the Governor's Palace on the side. Both have the word Williamsburg in cursive written across the pictures.
I was not able to get a good picture of the opalescent highlights on this attractive souvenir. It covers all the inside and outside of the cup and the front of the saucer, except for the part with the pictures. The saucer has a scalloped edge, with a gold rim and and embossed pattern. The cup has a smooth edge, with a gold rim, and a gold line down the handle.
The saucer measures 6" in diameter, and the cup measures 2 3/8" high and 5" across, including the handle.
There are no chips, cracks, fleabites, or loss of color on either the cup or the saucer. We could not find anything wrong with it at all.
