This sifter is going to look fantastic as a display piece, or it will be a useful tool in your country kitchen. Or maybe it will be new addition to your collection of vintage kitchen tools?

The cup measurements and the Bromwell's name are embossed on the sides of this sifter. The outside is enameled white, with sprigs of apples all around. The handle and the inside are plain metal. The turning handle has a red wooden knob.

It measures almost 6" high and is 4 1/2" wide. The handle sticks out for another 1 1/2", and the turning handle sticks out 2 1/2".

The inside does show some discoloration and a few rust streaks, and the bottom rim also has some rust on it. The large handle has a good bit of age discoloration, and some rust at the bottom seam. The turning knob is completely functional, but I'd love to know the story behind the burn mark on it. There are a few minor scratches in the white enamel, but all the apples are in excellent condition. There are no dents, and the sifting screen is in very good condition.

If you're looking for a sifter in perfect condition, this one isn't it. But if you want a vintage piece with character, you couldn't ask for better.
