Beautiful Battenberg lace, interesting linen kitchen calendars, and vintage embroidery and old crochet pieces always catch our eye. We even found a mint condition vintage Belgian lace handkerchief, still in its original cellophane wrapper, which we recently sold.
Our most exciting "rescue" from the trash bin was a Morgan Adjustable Pattern from 1887 that was just thrown in a jumbled pile of vintage patterns. It is now a prized possession of a theater costume designer in New York City! Such estate sale finds are always exciting.
We are always looking for the old vintage patterns that were sent through the mail, such as the SewRite, Hollywood, Mantons, and New York Pattern Company patterns. We also try to find old high fashion couture patterns from the 1920's thru 1940's. These are all so prized by collectors that they are hard to keep in stock. They usually sell as soon as we list them!
