ALL NEAR MINT CONDITION

This set of avocado green mugs just screams early 60's or 70's to me, as we lived in a house in the 70's with this same color on all the kitchen appliances, including the sink! If you're into the retro look, these are the mugs for you. This set would also be a great addition to any Fire King collector's display.

As shown in the photos, these are the stacking mugs that shade from solid green at the rim to black at the ribbed bottom edge. This particular style of mug has a distinctive handle. The inside of the mug is white.

One of the mugs has an irregular shading to the white inside of the mug, as seen in the first photo below. The middle photo shows a small split in the green coating at the base of another mug. This is not a crack. There are several extremely small flecks of missing green on several of the mugs. The right hand photo below shows the largest of these white specks, which is about twice as large as any of the other spots.

Several of the mugs have spots of kitchen soil on them, which did not come off with very gentle washing. It seemed wise to leave any further cleaning to the knowledgeable collector, to prevent any damage to the gloss.

Each mug measures 3 1/2" tall and 4" across, including the handle.

There are no chips, cracks, or fleabites on any of these matching mugs. All six have extremely glossy green surfaces, with no rubbed areas.  These six mugs are about as close to mint as one would likely find in kitchen glassware that is around 40 years old.
